Samsung positioned the Galaxy S7 Edge as a premium large-format phone, and its design was one of its defining traits. The 5.5-inch dual-edge Super AMOLED display uses a sharp 2560 x 1440 resolution, while the curved glass front and back give the handset a slim, polished look despite housing a sizeable 3600 mAh battery. It measures 150.9 x 72.6 x 7.7 mm and weighs 157 g, which kept it relatively light for its class. Inside, the phone pairs 4 GB of RAM with 32 GB of internal storage and supports microSD expansion, helping it balance everyday responsiveness with extra room for photos, apps, and media. Samsung also equipped it with a 12 MP rear camera with Dual Pixel autofocus and optical image stabilization, plus a 5 MP front camera, with 4K video recording available at up to 30 fps.
