Motorola designed the Moto Z Play as the endurance-focused member of the original Moto Z lineup, and that approach defines the device more than any single headline feature. Its body stays relatively slim at 6.99 mm despite a large 3510 mAh battery, and the flat back includes the Moto Mods connector for snap-on accessories that were a hallmark of this series. Up front, the 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display uses a 1920 x 1080 resolution and Gorilla Glass protection, giving the phone a sharp, high-contrast panel well suited to everyday media and apps. Performance comes from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage on most versions, plus microSD expansion.
