The body is rated IP67 for water and dust resistance, and at 159.9 x 75.1 x 8.4 mm and 189 g it remains easy to handle for a device with a large screen. Samsung pairs the phone with a Snapdragon 750G processor and Android 11 software, with versions that can offer 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of storage, plus microSD expansion up to 1 TB on supported models. The rear camera system includes a 64 MP main camera with optical image stabilization, joined by 12 MP ultra wide, 5 MP macro and 5 MP depth cameras, while the front camera is 32 MP. A 4,500 mAh battery, up to 25 W fast charging, stereo speakers, NFC, 5G, Bluetooth 5.0 and a 3.5 mm headphone jack round out a feature set that still feels notably complete.

Pros

  • 5G: Once again, it's a huge plus that Samsung allows its users to experience 5G technology without having to purchase one of their newer flagship smartphones.
  • Battery: The 4500 mAh battery is a noticeable improvement from the A32 5G, and usually lasts an entire day.

Cons

  • Resolution: With a larger screen than the A32, we expected a higher resolution, especially with such a price differential.
  • Fingerprint scanner inaccuracies: Although the device thankfully has a fingerprint scanner, users have complained about its performance being slow or sometimes inaccurate.
