Rather than chasing flagship size, the Idol 4 focuses on balance and portability. Its 5.2-inch display uses a 1920 x 1080 resolution that keeps text, video and photos looking crisp, while the slim 7.1 mm body and 135 g weight make it easy to carry. Alcatel paired the phone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor and Android 6.0 Marshmallow, along with 16GB of internal storage and support for microSD expansion, so there is room for apps, media and offline files beyond the built-in capacity. The camera setup combines a 13 MP rear camera with autofocus and an 8 MP front camera, and it supports 1080p video capture for everyday clips and video calls.
